Love the idea. Not sure of I missed this, but if the weapon you like the most has really bad damage stats and such, maybe you could upgrade it. Make a sucky weapon average, that way you'll use it.

secound paragraph under [i]customization/upgrades[/i] states that as most RPG there are repeated weapons of the same kind at different levels, so your gun can be leveled up along that path, to get different stats you have to restart on a gun with a different base stat type.
