It sounds like they haven't changed a bit since I played the game regularly over a year ago.
Still a fun game though. I have almost 500 hours on it :P

Where do you see how many hours you got?

It's in the main menu, somewhere near the bottom with the scrolling text. If you wait long enough, it will tell you how many hours you've played.
