Personally, I can't believe it's already November. Almost time for the bungie.net Schwippy Christmas Tree again!
It feels different being on the verge of another "next gen" transition. Literally, we're weeks away being the last time was over 8 years ago. Right now it's Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Netflix, more lumber is required, and trying to keep gaming (if you can get in the Hearthstone beta, do it). It's quite rare for myself in recent weeks from work. I was just talking with a friend this morning about how we think the Bungie Community is having a hard time making new friends through gaming because we no longer have a "go to" game that everyone is playing. I hope Destiny can certainly ignite the flames for everyone getting online all the time.
Also, I've been heavily trying to brainstorm PAX for next year, talking with friends etc. This next year is going to be a big transition. Also, you need to check out the podcasts.

I'm in total agreement about how hopefully Destiny will bring a lot of people back together. It's been too long since I've played in a massive familiar party of Bnet Members. I remember when it was just a regular weekly occurrence.
