Thanks for all your hard work. I want to know more about those Asaru, though I suspect its an early concept for the Fallen

I doubt it. For one, the Asaru is completely different from the Fallen in form. For another, if the Asaru did evolve into the Fallen, they would most certainly have an interation between Point A and Point B that would have been better to display to exhibit that fact. It's way more likely that the Asaru would be cut from the game than evolve into the Fallen though, their themes are just too different. One is a faceless abomination thing hooked up to a machine, the other is insectile bands of marauders.

Yeah that makes sense, The reason I linked the two was because of the head/helmet design, and the fact it was apparently a pilot which made me think of the captains. Also someone else on the forums posted a thread about the relation between the Fallen and the Hindu Asuras, four-armed fallen angels, So the name Asaru immediately jumped out at me.
