Personally I love both, all their movies are great, but I believe that superman would win in a fight between the two. Superman is stronger and faster than batman, and can counter any of batman's gadgets with one of his powers or a gadget up in the fortress of solitude. A big reason batman fanboys believe he can win is kryptonite. Superman has proven on numerous occasions that he can overcome the effects of kryptonite with a radiation suit, or by flying through the sun. Even if he doesn't have one of these, he has still proven that kryptonite isn't an instant win. What is an instant win against batman is one good punch from superman. Imagine if what superman did to zod in the video above happened to batman? He would have been ko'd after the first punch superman threw. I'm sorry batfans, but superman would win in this fight. Let me lay out the rules for this fight: 1)Both know that they are fighting each other. I think this is fair because Superman could just as easily start a fight without Batman knowing as Batman could to Superman 2)No outside help- It's not a Superman-Batman fight if each calls in all of their super-allies 3)Only use facts that are mentioned in the comic books! I know, Superman would be able to turn back time if we include the movies, but that isn't who the superheroes are, so we will stick to what they have done in the comics. 4)Batman can't win "because he's batman" (the same goes to superman, but this seems to be more of a problem with the bat-fans) 5)Running away isn't allowed. By doing this, you effectively forfeit the fight 6)If you bring up certain comic books where the two fight, be sure there aren't any outside factors involving the fight. Two big ones for batfans are TDKR and Hush, both of which were certainly not solely superman and batman going at it.

  • Superman. Batman always beats Superman huh? Batman has never defeated Superman in canon, and when he does beat him in a non-canon story, Superman is never completely defeated and Batman is usually in shambles. Batman is always prepared? Just because Batman has a plan, doesn't it will work - especially since Superman will also have a plan in place to put down Batman in case he ever goes rogue. Batman has kryptonite? Superman can counter Kryptonite in various ways, primarily either by acquiring a radiation suit or by exposing himself to enough yellow sun radiation in order to grant immunity from kryptonite. In addition, Superman has fought Kryptonite based villains such as Metallo many times and always emerges as the victor, he even fought against Batman whom was made entirely out of Kryptonite and still won. Batman is smarter than Superman? Nope. Superman possesses the ability of Super-thought, allowing him to process information at speeds even Batman cannot fathom (he read every single medical book ever published within minutes in the New 52), he also out matches Lex Luthor and Brainiac (the smartest beings on Earth and the entire galaxy). Superman has even used his x-ray vision to analysis Batman's utility belt and found several ways to improve his gadgets. Batman is a better fighter than Superman? This is debatable. However people often say that Superman is merely a brawler and inexperienced as a martial artist, which is untrue as Superman has been trained in both Torquasm Rao and Vo - both of which are Kryptonian martial arts. Batman admits that Superman would win. "If Clark wanted to, he could use his superspeed and squish me into the cement. But I know how he thinks. Even more than the Kryptonite, he's got one big weakness. Deep down, Clark's essentially a good person... and deep down, I'm not." Here Batman also implies that Superman always holds back when fighting him, suggesting that a fair fight between the two would result in a swift victory for Superman. I prefer Batman over Superman, but I won't blindly defend him just because I prefer him.
