the ideal solution for an ideal world is run for office. unfortunately, we don't live in an ideal world and the system is designed to take massive amounts of money to run a campaign. letters are about the best you can do aside from grassroots campaigning/protesting efforts.

Sit and wait. Eventually, there will be enough people that wake up and start something. I'm not going to go out of my way to travel and protest, but when people really wake up, and start banding together, and it starts happening all over, then I'll show some support. Nothing lasts forever, and eventually, things will come crashing down.

Depends on what it was really. If it was something not-so-serious either a demonstration, letter or just accept it. If I seriously disagreed with something enough, I would start hurling bricks at the police.

I'd take part in campaign but then I realize the government doesn't care what we think and will ignore us.
