Why is Master Chief paired with Cortana? Doesn't that mean he gets an immediate boost of help through AI intelligence? Your poll sucks chode.

Its the only way he has a chance. Without Cortana he can heat an MRE or cook the parasites out of a snake. He'd automatically be the loser. With Cortana he stands a chance.

Even at making chili? Killing aliens and saving the day, sure. But who would have taught him to make chili?

A soldier should be able to cook, that's Survival 101 if he is without rations and standard food. And in his decades of training, I doubt they wouldn't have taught him how to use spices appropriately to season the food he would scavenge. Also still unfair because he basically has a co-pilot.

Naw... just cook the snake until all the parasites are dead, eat it. He would just pick the fruits and veggies as needed from whatever jungle he happened to be in. Cooking would be irrelevant to the Chief.
