i want to pursue my career in game design... what online unversities are reliable?

hi my name is mark, I am considering to pursue my career in game design. but I don't know what online universities are reliable. I recently contacted full sail university and was told that my tuition cost was $59,750 for a bachelors degree. it included a launch box with a MacBook pro and all the needed programs to complete this degree. haven't enrolled yet. was hearing different reviews of this school. and I worried they will run me into debt. and ruin my credit. if anyone has any other resolutions to this issue please help. and I can be contacted at mobrien1@live.com.

  • Nearly 60 grand for a bachelors? Damn, my tuition fees are barely a fraction on that for the same level of degree. If it's gonna cost you 60K, and if you need to pay it off, I wouldn't recommend it. There's far more better thing to pursue in practical nature that are far more appealing than being in way over your head in debt.

  • Just a warning, being $60k in debt will not be pleasant. Don't pursue a career in video game design just because you love playing video games, because creating videos and playing them are completely different. You have to be very talented to get a job at a decent video game development company, and even then you're not guaranteed a job. Follow your dreams and all, but if video game design is not actually your true passion then you should consider a more practical major. I recommend trying out some free/cheap video game design programs so you have a hands-on experience of what the rest of your life could be like. If you love it, then go for it and pursue your education, but many people think they will love it but end up hating it and wasting a lot of money.
