Edited by The Great DanTej: 8/4/2013 8:08:56 AM>anything that has mechs in it is a transformers ripoff >ignoring that transformers itself is just a macross ripoff This movie is a love letter to a dying medium that you probably think is also just another transformers ripoff; I hate to sound this mad but it really is sad that people like you are the reason why PR is practically flopping whilst adam sandler stays employed.

I see no reason to bring Adam Sandler into things. That said, I have an odd respect for him since he starred in a Paul Thomas Anderson film.

Edited by GKR: 8/2/2013 4:21:46 AMExcept it's not Michael Bay. It's Guillermo del Toro. And there's no racism or sexism. And the stereotypes present aren't offensive and can be comedic at times. And you can actually tell what's going on in the action scenes. And this director knew what he was doing. And the humor can satisfy audiences above age 15. And this film actually knows how to honor source material.
