I've live in a city where open carry is legal. No permit, just you and your piece in plain view. I think the U.S. would be a lot better place if it were legal everywhere. Just my opinion.

Edited by colbyrules8: 9/14/2013 2:25:54 AMNo, it's a terrible idea. There is no causality in regards to hand guns and crime rate. This is the most idiotic post I've seen on this forum this week ( I understand it was revived, but my statement still stands). You somehow think they are related when they aren't. Look at Switzerland, your conservative's wet dream in regards to weapon control. True enough, they do have a low crime rate but that isn't relevant at all because I can just as easily flip over to the opposite side of the spectrum and say , " Well, Japan has one of the lowest crime rates in the world and they have HEAVY restrictions and bans on certain weapons". You see, it isn't about if you own weapons or not, it is all about culture and our mentalities. Quit comparing the two, it makes you look stupid.

It would, look at Switzerland. One of the lowest crime rates and everybody is required to own guns.

Open carry puts you at a disadvantage to active shooters by making you a priority target. Not to mention that you will unnecessarily make fellow citizens uncomfortable.

Good for you? Do you want a gold star?
