[u]Mute[/u] and [u]report[/u] everything you consider bad? Muting is used to silence who constantly do things you don't like, not for users you've only seen once. Reporting is used for offensive posts. Not for things [b]you[/b] consider bad. Hiding is used for that. What you're planning to do is just unnessicary and overkill, since you never come there in the first place.

You're not alone, a lot of us do mute even if it seems that a portion of the community are against the whole thing. There's no reason not to if something really bothers you. As far as OffTopic goes, it's an enjoyable forum now that I don't have to look at some of the stuff that gets posted there. A lot of people say it thwarts discussion, but frankly a lot of the stuff that is posted there isn't even worth discussing.

We can't just go around and mute people just because we don't agree with their ideals or opinions. They have the right to voice their opinion freely. We were given the power and responsibility to hold up the values of the community just like the Guardians were given the power of the Traveler to protect Humanity. Sure we may not agree with what someone says but its the combination of all of our different backgrounds and beliefs that create great community discussions and create thought provoking queries. It is our duty to raise up those with ideas, not snuff them out, Bungie has given us great power, and we shan't become an irksome band of trolls.

I think we should just let it all go. I feel as if we let the immature kids from the flood win. I feel it was highly unnecessary to bring Deej into any of this.
