What the -blam!- are you doing? If you ask them to nerf the sniper rifles, they will overnerf it like they did to the plasma launcher in the Halo: Reach beta when people bitched about it being unfair. That weapon was useless by the time the full game was released! Nerf it and the Hunter will be useless! I don't want two character choices instead of three because of the Hunter's nerfed skills! Nerf -blam!-ing space magic out of anything! One magic bomb annihilated that gameplay demo boss in a second.

Please. If you actually read my thread, I proposed a way to nerf the Sniper Rifle that keeps it relevant and useful, just not horrifically overdominant.

I read it, but I love sniping and the last time someone ask Bungie to nerf something, it wasn't pretty. Sorry for the overreaction!

There had been quite a few people shooting for a bit before the nova bomb was released. They probably weakened it a lot for him.

I'd imagine that was because they had god-mode on for the demo. I can't see them shipping a game with a one hit power that can demolish bosses like that, can you?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought bungie had said that all weapons can be used by any class. So the sniper rifle is in no way connected to the hunter.
