Mass Effect help!
So I've started playing Mass Effect 1 and I got to the part when you fight Matriarch Benezia on Noveria and no matter how hard I try I cannot beat her. Does anyone have any strategies for winning this fight? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I have heard that bringing Liara with you on this mission helps but I don't know any of her abilities or what weapons she is trained in.

You don't kill her directly at first. You have to kill the Commandos and Geth that are in the room to weaken her. Then after the cutscene, you can kill her.
