Gentle? That damned bird was spawned directly from hell, with bones forged from adamantium and feathers of... Well, just normal feathers, but still. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that it was attacking the walls. It flew into everything it saw at full force, and everything it didn't see it flew into anyway because it's a god damned bird. I'm not saying I wouldn't have been gentle if the opportunity to follow your advice arose, but I'm just saying that it probably wouldn't have been a very successful tactic considering this thing's murderous tendencies and disregard for safety.
