Since we're talking a huge world and all, what if on our journeys on earth we can travel to Washington state where Bungie studios is located? I imagine it being a huuuuuuuuuuuggge -blam- skyscraper castle thingy....
Thoughts?

I SECOND THE NECROBUMP

NECROBUMPPPPPPPPP

It would remind me of the Bethesda Ruins in Fallout 3. I would love to see this happen!
-
This thread bring tears to my eyes
-
Oh dude it's there man. You just have to glitch through an invisible wall and walk for about a month straight (it's all to scale you know). It's pretty cool. Trust me I've seen it I'm a ninja. :-)
-
Its not open world, it seems to be open world Like how borderlands seems open world
-
Hey come check out our pre-destiny clan!! Here's the link: http://vanguardians.enjin.com/home We welcome you with open arms! Please make sure to give a shout out to Corrosive Honor for getting you there! Chancellors names appear in red on the site so feel free to ask them any questions you may have!

When the say open world they didn't mean they have slaves at Bungie 3D-modelling an exact replica of Earth. This is not an Earth simulator....
It's...... *takes off glasses*... A bird simulator.
-
It would be cool to find the Bungie building ruin and as we shift thru the rubble we find a easter egg of a game they're working on for the future either by a ripped poster or crushed game box just like they did in Halo3 ODST.

Best Idea Ever and there's gonna be some sweet loot
-
I don't know, but I have some plans for my fireteam. We finding Ling-Lings head.

You unlock the Webmaster race/class when you find it. Your secret weapon, Web O's Your mom loves them! :)
-
Yes please
-
That would be cool, maybe there can be a quest were u have to rescue Jason jones and some other famous bungie workers from the building and guide them through some fallen forces and all the bungie workers have like cool custom guns that have the bungie logo on it and stuff
-
This'd be a fun little Easter egg
-
I'm really glad that I'm not the only one who's been thinking about this. I also thought about what if they put in their first studio in the ruins of Old Chicago, but I didn't think that would really be as cool and include all of their current employees in the fun as much.
What has yet to be revealed is that the Traveler has actually come to Earth as a response to the completion of World Domination by Bungie. The slingshot will more than likely be a vehicle that the top "legends" will be able to use.
;)
-
Yeah, maybe they can include a working computer with all their files stored inside too.
-
It would be cool to have an easter egg level that is an replica of the Bungie studio. Insomniac did that with Ratchet & Clank A crack in time. And within this easter egg level you could find concept models for all sorts of things such as unused weapons/gadgets and even complete level/environment ideas. The insomniac museum is the best easter egg of this generation.

Nah... You will go to Washington... And in the background you won't see the Spire... You will see a Giant Sling-shot which you will use to launch the final boss into the sun.
-
Ol' Bungie Studios is where the boss fight is at.
-
Destiny isn't open world. Thinking like that is dangerous and can lead to unrealistic expectations. However, if Bungie does decide to include Washington state in the game, I'm sure they'll have something special up their sleeves for that location. I wouldn't put it past them to include some sort of Easter egg at the site of their studios in the Destiny universe.
-
This would be a cool shout out (even if its to themselves). Would love to see it!
-
I expect to see a giant pole stretching into the sky, with a limp cable attached to the tip.
The remains of the slingshot Bungie used to fling their enemies into the sun.
-
Ooooooor, It's more minute and accurate but still cool and unrevealing.
-
some kind of easter egg?
