I personally am really into progressive metal.
I recommend Dream Theater, Between the Buried and Me, and The Contortionist. I'm avid in metal, and that is quite truly my lifeline where I currently live. I'm an eight year drummer, and a understand why prog. metal is so damn good.

I've been a metal head since freshman year in high school. I wish you the best of luck with the band, and remember keep it metal.

Thank you. Same for you, and I will always be metal. It's a lifestyle, not just music. Y'know? Being the drummer, metal runs through me.
