Huh I don't think you know that titles meant? Just because someone was a Mythic member didn't mean they knew what they were talking about. If anything it meant they were around for a long time without being banned or warned for the most part. Acting like someone was right because they had a blue title bar is not the way to use a forum. If anything OP the whole title system was a good way to make it easier to see which members were new and more likely a troll and it also made it easier to spot some members while scrolling through a thread. In the end if you post a lot and are here often people know who you are which means you don't need a fancy title bar in order to do that for you especially since you can follow people now.

  • What Mr York Morgan said (Nice name btw) That is highly debateable and I dont think you read all of what I said, and if you did, you didnt understand it as I agree with you on most of what you said. I wasn't saying that you should automatically think that just because they are mythic you should accept their word over another persons. The purpose for the most part was to pick out the trustworthy members and make them easier to spot, They however, 9 times out of 10 were always more helpful as their experience with the site was most of the time far greater than others. And fyi: I think most of us know how to use a forum thanks haha.

  • I personally think you are misusing trustworthy or it isn't the right word in this context. To gain trust on the old site at least from the mods would require simply following the rules. As for validity of posts in terms of being right or wrong they could be wrong just like anyone else on this site about facts. Now as for being helpful I do agree as a whole they were probably more helpful, but that is most likely due to there being a lot of trolls that were just normal members. Even then there were a lot of normal members that posted a lot while there were a lot of mythics that rarely posted as seen in how a fair amount of mythics were only intrepid or lower.

Ha! Trust from the mods didnt come that easily I can tell you. I think it could be argued that normal members got labelled with far to much suspicion. I would say that the majority of members were not trolls. Most of them that were caught eventually turned out to be the same people over and over again with alts. This damages the reliability quite a bit as you dont know unless a mod outright says so apart from that rare case with John Cena, speaking of which someone in this thread is actually using a alt of him haha. Also to add: I cant believe anybody likes this 'follower' thing. Common Bungie, give us back our titles. That little colour next to our name is all we got man ;) .

  • You misread my post. I never said a majority of normal members are trolls. Instead I just said a lot of trolls were normal members which is expected since a lot of trolls/spammers would get banned on a fairly regular basis and as a result would make alts. As for reliability this is a forum you decide at the end of the day who you want to trust and who you don't want to trust the same can be said about who you should and shouldn't communicate with. If anything the whole title system would not be a good thing for determining who you should and shouldn't trust because they could be just as wrong as anyone else on here.

  • John Cena Original was a clown, he died off quick. Then came all the tryhards who copied him.
