Dead Space 3 - New Game+ Modes
Has anyone tried out the new game plus modes in Dead Space 3?
- Classic
- Pure Survival
- Hardcore
I beat Classic recently which wasn't particularly hard. I'm looking to try Pure Survival some time soon. Hardcore mode strikes me as almost cheap in a way. Beat the game without dying? At least DS2 let you have 3 saves - still brutal, but at least reasonable. DS3 is a long game.
I think it could have been cool if they made a mode where all enemies had double health or seriously enhanced resilience. Where dismembering limbs isn't as easy as before and firepower is a necessity. Onslaught mode maybe.

It isn't "Hardcore" for nothing.

10 RepliesPure survival is hard at the start but once you start stacking up on resources you'll be good. Hardcore is insanely fun with a co-op buddy. Me and my brother did it. The worst part in DS3 Hardcore is the cliff climbing. It made me die a few times.
