stop worrying guys! although the game-play for destiny will be on ps4 at e3 and that they get some content, it really doesn't matter. WE'RE GETTING DESTINY GAME-PLAY! it shouldn't matter what system we see it on. at least we get to the see the game! and im sure the xbo will look just as great and will probably get some content as well! remember this is the first time play-station fans get to play a bungie game. the game-play and content is basically there welcome party! but i doubt bungie will forget us Xbox fans. and the exclusive content will probably be a few cosmetic things. nothing that will give them a higher advantage.
P.S: and for those who think the XBO stinks and is dumb. wait till E3 and then after that make your choice.

I started on on the N64 Then xbox now xbox 360. I feel happy that bungie gets to share its greatness with Playstation owners. I for one will be getting the xbox one. When i save the money. Im concerned because i pre-ordered it for xbox 360 and paid it 100% off. If Microsoft dose the same thing they did with xbox to xbox 360. The 360 will only have about one year of live before they shut it down. So i hope bungie is going to do something like a code in the game that will work on the xbox one for a game download for destiny if xbox 360 only has one year of live. Or some thing like that.

You've essentially created a thread for 12 year olds to argue in. I've been with PS since the PS1 for own reasons and if you can't accept the following facts then you shouldn't be talking. 1. The PS2 was better than the Xbox 2. The Xbox 360 was better than the PS3 (I bought the PS3 primarily because I didn't want to pay for online and I prefer their controllers... And I have am just attracted to PS) 3. The PS4 may win this time due to the fact that it's hardware capabilities are more tuned for gaming and it now has more exclusives than Xbox and Bungie has stopped making Halo. People may have bought a different console for there own reasons (like me) but facts are facts. Sales reflect this as well. Then we need to remember that because us PS guys have never experienced how amazing Bungie's games are, Bungie wants to expand their audience and appeal to PS players as well. How do they do this? Give them something that Xbox players wont get. I've played halo on a friend's Xbox 360 and I freaking loved it. Now let's all hug.

wooooooooooooooooooo xbox
-
To Xbox fans who are bummed out, don't worry, the Xbox still has one thing Sony can only dream of implementing into their new console.....A Pizza Hut app
-
Xbox users need to stop being such cry babies and ben dover and accept PS4's dominance over them.
-
I might have already replied to this thread but: I doubt there will be that big of difference.
-
If you think about it. The difference between the consoles is exactly the same as before. The PS4 is going to be better in terms of graphics, but more expensive (it has no subscription fee, but it's servers clearly don't have good security as a result). The Xbox is cheaper, and the graphics won't be as good as the PS4's, it will have a subscription fee, but i think it is worth it for the social features and online security. It's the exact same thing we have now, just better. So people just need to pick their favorite and stop arguing about it. I never cared if the Xbox's graphics aren't as good and I'm not going to start caring now. I can't blame people for getting the PS4 either, it has nice graphics and free multiplayer. I just think that in the end it doesn't matter and it's really just a matter of opinion.
-
The gameplay REVEAL is on the PS4, but I'm rather positive they will demo-ing the game on both the PS4 and Xbox One during E3...so no worries.
-
The cry baby Xbox guys need to stop. I don't understand why additional stuff is so important to gamers. I just want to play Destiny with my friends and have a good time. I could care less about exclusive content. Grow up community.

You are aware that xbone's ddr3 is slightly less powerful than the ps4 gddr5 right? And you do know that an APU/GPGPU architecture, like the one on sony's console, uses significantly less energy, thus granting more possible overclock if confronted with the more traditional CPU-GPU architecture in microsoft's machine? Sorry dude, but on paper Destiny won't be the same on ps4 and xbone. Not hating Xbox or anything. I actually hoped for better competition this gen, but Microsoft chose to grab more consumers by underpowering the console in favor of a higher number of gimmicks that they hope will attract more non gamers. The xbox one will probably outsell ps4 in the US. But the majority of it's adopters won't be gamers. They are reaching out to the much more bigger and general household public. If you want a gamer's console. Xbox one is not the choice. If you want to stick with it because you love the brand you are doing the right thing.
-
IGN has reported that the Xbox One will have 300,000 servers which is more than all the computing power of the world in 1999. And that said servers have been stated to insure every game on Xbox One gets dedicated servers, that alone helped me make my choice.
-
I am getting the game for the 360 so either way, I don't care.

You also have to think about the gameplay reveal on PS4 in terms of marketing as well. Most Xbox players are familiar with Bungie and Halo. Their purchase of Destiny is pretty reliable. But the average Playstation player is less likely to be familiar with Bungie's pedigree and may be less likely to buy Destiny. So by spending extra time with the Playstation crowd, Bungie is expanding its player base. I know as hardcore fans, it's hard to think that gamers at large wouldn't be familiar with Bungie, but there are plenty of people out there far more interested in other games and developers. Also, Bungie presenting Destiny at the Playstation conference is a plus for publisher Activision. You know Call of Duty (Activision's other mega-franchise) will be a highlight at the Xbox conference. I would argue that COD has its strongest player base on the Xbox. And to also include Destiny in the Xbox conference may oversaturate the conference with both franchises. Having Destiny be a major reveal for Activision at the Playstation conference lets COD and Destiny both get big attention without directly competing in the same conference. And to the OP's point, Xbox fans can expect the same game on Xbox One. Plus, regardless we are all getting a gameplay reveal!
-
People need to remember Sony press conference is before MS. So it also makes sense they will see the gameplay before MS

Edited by Froboy: 5/25/2013 3:55:08 AMHonestly the "exclusive content" is usually some noob armor permutation that nobody uses anyways.
-
"Comon Guys, lets head back to Halo 3, I think we've had enough Destiny for today,".
-
Yeh while I was disappointed at the presentation and I wouldn't touch the Xbox going on what they showed thankfully I don't have to decide on that. We still have E3. I have to say though, if M don't pull something nice and shiny out their rectums then Sony may win this one...
-
Edited by rocketFox: 5/24/2013 8:20:02 AMI have no idea why anyone gets so worked up and upset about the brand of console they own. There are bigger things to worry about.
-
hey could be worse, we could all be PC gamers
-
Unless PS4 has server lists the Xbox already won.
-
A lot of this would be complete nonsense if you didn't have gamer magazines like Game Informer listing the upcoming PS4 as the only platform for Destiny.
-
HAhahahahaHAHaHhAAH I was an xbox fan until micro$oft went full crazy. Got tired of paying for Live.. And now they turned the xbox into a TV set. Loved the PS2, and now.. Glad I am going for the PS4. Good on ya, Sony. And thanks bungie for putting me in a new direction.
-
I hate all this exclusive content BS anyway.
-
Thank you!!! These people really need to calm down. Destiny is going to be the same on all consoles!!!!! They said it already people!!
-
Maybe it's just me... but im' already so immersed in this universe I could care less which console it's played on. Granted we know Bungie in relation to Xbox .. b/c well... Bungie single handidly saved the xbox with Halo. I play MMO's on the xbox as well as FPS's. I tend to play more strategy, action/rpg's on the PS.... and always have to keep at the back of our minds.. as cynical as it sounds... Bungie has to make money.... why limit yourself to one console if your idea is so grand. All gamers should be able to experience DESTINY. However i do have ONE question.... will PS owners be able to play with xbox owners and vice-versa? ... i sure hope so. O.o,y,,
-
I agree. I just don't want to miss out on any content that PS4 may get, hopefully Bungie will have something saved for us.
