Let me just say I don't believe a fixed age of consent law works nor makes sense, a person will not magically become mature enough to handle sex on their birthday, that's not how people work, we are all unique, there could be 13-year-olds more sexually mature than someone who's 30. But I'm interested to see the public opinion on here, what age do you believe people should be allowed to have sex with others?

14 is well into puberty and hormones are going wild. People should be able to release their desires regardless of age. Sex is a natural part of the human experience.

Mandatory chastity belts until age 23. Attempts to remove the belt early will result in detonation of c4 explosive placed tangent to the genitals. Wash with oil.

It should be six, because six sounds like sex. #WinLogic

It's 16 in my state.

I think you can legally have sex if you don't fall under these categories: 1. once you you're off welfare 2. not living with your god damn parents 3. and you don't have an STD/STI REASONS: 1. That way we will have less kids being used for more government money, and they won't be abused, won't be lawbreakers, and won't have to live a life of poverty. 2. Because if you have a kid your parents will have to take care of YOU and your STUPID KID. 3. If you have an STD/STI and you knowingly have sex you should be euthanize by a doctor.

I think 15 is a good age.

In Germany it is 16. They graduate high school then do 2 years at trade school learning a trade. I believe it's better and I noticed there youth are better than American youth

There shouldn't be one. Some people in their early teens are more responsible when having sex than some in their mid-twenties. People should be allowed to have sex once they have proven to be sensible and mature about it.

I'd say 16 as well.

16 in my state as well. Freedom to bang 16 year olds...good times.
-
16 is ample. Any older and the law is just pointless. Any younger and it's just morally reprehensible.

It's 16 in my state. Fair enough. I guess I'll up it to 17 though just to safe.
