I failed 2 classes this year and in these 2 semesters I have managed to get a shitty 1.8 GPA.
On my schools website they say I may get academic dismissal if I go on academic probation after a semester and I get under a 2.0 GPA again the next semester.
So if I get under a 2.0 in a year do I get kicked off financial aid?
My girlfriend is telling me that I won't be able to get a loan from anywhere, including Sallie Mae, the place I am getting my student loans from now. Is that true? Will I seriously not be able to get a loan because I screwed up on my first year of college? Damn I just don't know what I'm going to do. After one year is it seriously all over?

It's truly sad that at the age of 19 and a freshman in college I am contemplating suicide. My family is not tolerant of failure, if they know that I screwed up this badly I'm really going to get it.
After one year is it seriously all over?
How? People flunk out of college. It happens. Obviously, suicide is not the solution.

How did you manage to stuff up that badly in your first year? What subjects were you doing?

Knock you're shit off and study its not rocket science (unless it is)

Community College. Take half your classes there then transfer them over to a university.

This is what's wrong with our country. We put too much emphasis on college and numbers on a piece of paper.

Bullshit, isn't it? -_-.. Stupid ass world.. "Oh.. money isn't the most important thing" *Makes 90% of activities require lots of money.*
