All we need to do is control the governments (and thus, schools) and that day can come a lot sooner.
Put massive taxes on private religious schools and churches/mosques/synagogues. (notice I didn't say ban, free speech and stuff...)
Push science education to priority #1 in all schools, increase money going into schools, increase teacher pay, and remove any existing laws that prevent teachers from countering the religious beliefs of a student with contrary evidence.

Taxing of religious institutions such as churches is an infringement on their ability to freely worship as they please.

Edited by God: 5/3/2013 5:54:34 PMThat isn't oppression, just removal of tax exemption, letting teachers have more freedom of speech and trying to make the public more educated, nothing about censoring or forcing beliefs. If you think any of those are actually oppressive then i don't know what to say.

Still, nothing he said was forcing atheism, simply ceasing to give religious organizations special treatment and keeping teachers from being sued for teaching scientific facts. More knowledge does tend to lead to being less religious, but it would still be the student's decision.

(Like my school, it's a catholic school, but all that means is that we have to go to mass occasionally and R.E is a required subject. Science is still taught just as well as other schools, infact, my school is one of the best schools in the city, Grade wise.
