T4R
I'm watching through this anime and right now and all I can say is...dem feels mang. So good.
Thoughts on SAO?

I cried when Asuna lost Yui
-
I loved the first half of the anime, didn't like the second half that much.
-
It was a really good anime. Started it yesterday, finished it today. I am actually fairly happy where they ended it and don't feel the need to continue the series by reading the light novels. Sure, I'd love to see what became of:
The Laughing Coffin Guild, because the light novels do go into that
but I think I will wait until they make it a continuation of the anime (which most likely will never happen, but oh well). Well done series, though they could have cut back on some of the unneeded emotional drama, like maybe dropped or changed up an episode or two.

It was alright. Could have been better. Certain parts felt rushed.

Anyways, newer Anime really can't compete with older titles. I'm not referring to pre 2000's when I say older, just new series haven't been that intriguing and that includes Attack on Titan. Clannad, Ef: a Tale of Two, Death Note, Code Geass, Mirai Nikki, Spice and Wolf, Blast of Tempest, and Toradora! haven't been topped by any new shows. I'm just waiting for something to top Clannad, which will take probably another decade.

Its over hyped and totally bad.
-
Fuck anime.
-
I've only seen the first episode. At least the bad guy has a good premise. He's doing bad things because he -blam!-ing feels like it.
-
I enjoyed it. The second arc was not amazing, but it was still worth watching.
-
I loved it personally, but the second season didn't fit very well. Still liked it though.
-
I mainly like the first arc (1-15). The second arc went from good to so-so, but still better than a lot of anime these days.
-
It keeps popping up on Hulu, is it worth watching?
-
I was hoping this was gunna be something similar to those drawball threads...
-
I haven't made a decision whether or not to get into it yet.
-
I liked it.

Edited by We are Geth: 8/9/2013 3:15:35 AMFirst 9-12 episodes were either okay or good. Everything after that just went downhill for me. Couldn't enjoy it. Just realized this was bumped from like forever ago...
-
I didn't like it.
-
It is awesome till they get freed from the game

Read the novels. There is more content, and the story goes further. They're translated up to 9 complete volumes online. (Volume 1-2 is SAO, Volume 3-4 is ALO, the rest are new stuff to anime watchers. Plus there is an additional shorter SAO volume that I don't believe made it into the anime)

Stop after episode 14.

Edited by DarkSilver121: 5/1/2013 6:33:30 AMIdk, at first I thought that part 2 was bad, but when i re-watched the show the ALF arc (pt.2) was not as bad as i had thought it was the first time... I think the massive drop in tension when pt.1 ends is what "kills" it for most people... and I'll admit that there is some weirdness, but I've come to expect that from anime. Still, I have to agree that the first half is rather epic. Combination of the music, characters, and the drama in the first arc. Part of me wants to see the anime continue (i read there are 1 or 2 more arcs) but i think at this point anything more would just be inviting further... watering down.

Isn't Gundam suppose to be really good?
-
Golgo 13 and Cowboy Bebop are superior anime.
-
Also I'd like to point out that other than Naruto (not Shippuden, and I don't keep with it anymore, nor did I finish it), this is the first anime I've seen. So suggestions, go.

SAO is great, until the end.. It takes a... Rather strange and confusing turn. Well.. More strange than confusing
