3 RepliesIt makes me think of a joke: A man is trapped on his roof during a flood. A guy in a rowboat paddles past and offers to help him, but the man refuses. "God will save me," he says, waving them on. The water continues to rise until it's lapping at his ankles, and soon enough a group of guys in a motorboat drive up and tell the man to get in, but again he refuses the help. "God will save me." The water rises up to the man's knees, when a helicopter hovers over him and drops a ladder down. "No thanks!" the man shouts, "God will save me!" and the helicopter flies off. Naturally, the man is washed away and drowns. When he gets up to the Pearly Gates, he asks Saint Peter why God didn't save him. "Are you joking?" says Peter, "He sent you two boats and a helicopter! What more did you want?"
