The new "Popular" and "Oldest First" methods are causing me a lot more loading, searching, and clicking every single time I view a thread. The problem with Popular is that it will not show me posts without a like and put the most liked 'comment' at the top. This is not helpful to me as I can easily miss any random post because it didn't show up. Oldest First forces me to scroll down and load more "pages" until I can't whenever I want to view the latest comment in a thread I've already visited. It's also not the default, so I have to reload the thread when I switch to it. Some solutions to this would be [i]pages[/i], or a newest first option. Being able to set one of these options to the default would also be excellent. What I just don't understand is why we got this major site overhaul in the first place. What we had before was good, functional, and fairly unique in appearance. Did the Bungie Web team decide to change to this SocialNetworking-esque layout due to restraints or in an attempt to appeal to more people? This is hardly even a forum, [i]we can't even preview posts.[/i]
