It lets you make dense cities that go on for miles that can run on hardware that can regularly only handle a single room with a table in it.

Umbra has a chest full of magic. They are teaching all the good gaming developers how to use this magic to make their games look over-the-top good even on current-gen hardware. Basically with their technology, the games using it will suddenly have to make so many less objects visible to the player. Because so many less big objects will have to be drawn (or "put on the screen" which can be expensive on the memory and processing power) this will free up a lot more power/space to be used for other things. Things like more kick-ass objects to view, or even more enemies on screen. TL;DR: Umbra is letting their Krustomers give a part of their talk because their product is just THAT kick-ass.
