There are a couple of mobile developers on the web team who are sharper than Claymores. You've seen the new foundation they've poured for themselves in the form of the new Bungie Mobile App. If you haven't, you should give it a download. It's free, and it represents a construction site. They're not done building - not by a damn sight.
I cannot confirm or deny and of your theories, OP, but there are exciting experiences planned for your on-the-go lifestyle as a would-be player of Destiny.

Will there ever be Windows phone support?

I'm sure sooner or later there will be windows phone support added in. See windows phones (from what i understand) are substantially more complex to not only make apps for, but then release. Seeing as how they don't have a big of a following as iPhone, or Android the developers probably aren't focusing on that, but i'm sure bungie wanting all their fans to enjoy it will release it soon.

Love the mentioning of experiences for different types of players. Being a parent makes it hard to dedicate time for games and playing consistently so this is a welcome feature. The app is looking really good, nice job! Cheers

I have downloaded the mobile app, and i find it quite amazing I've developed a little bit myself as in hopes to one day become a video game designer (have made quite a substantial progress i think), and it is quite amazing what they've done, and I know they are working day in, and day out for the fans, but i can't wait to see the exciting things you have in store for us.
