I have hundreds, if not over a thousand, physical books. Space alone sometimes prevented me from buying new books. But now I have an online bookshelf that is available to my tablets, my PC's, my phones, etc. and all that I have to do is show my ID and those books are there available to me to re-read whenever I want. I would love to move my dozens of bookcases that are 3 layers full of paper that I am keeping "just in case I may want to read it again". If I could move those bookshelves full of books into my digital library, I would gladly donate the physical copies to a school, a library, a church, a homeless shelter, anywhere AND pay a license transfer fee so that I could still revisit any of those books when the mood struck me. Saved on the cloud, my server, I don't care. I already have done this will all of my film, photos, movies, DVD's, laserdiscs, VHS, Bluray, HD-DVD and CD-ROM. All licensed, all digital, all available from anywhere in the world. Books are the last analog archive that I have.
