All the people who claim that Origin is spyware or malware are either steam users or console users. Do a little analysis of the program, it sends off PC information to EA during crashes. That's it.

I know right? There was a big freakout like probably a year or so ago when it first came out and they fixed the part in their terms that everyone was upset about. The "spyware" part hasn't been an issue for years now. It still gathers data but to a level no worse than Steam already has and does.

The problem was the system was exploitable by hackers, I think someone even did it just to show how easy it was to get EA to fix it.
