Compare the two consoles. What does the Xbox 360 do better, when compared to the PS3? Include online services, exclusives, all that. I can't think of much. Literally the only reason I play my Xbox 360 now is because I have friends on it. The PS3 does so much things better. It has free online (with no ads, unlike XBL), but you can pay a premium subscription to get free games frequently and discounts. It has a wider range of exclusives, compared to Xbox's crappy list. With Gears of War Judgement (aka gears of war 3 expansion pack) and Halo 4 (aka the start of a fail trilogy), I don't see it looking too well for their exclusives. Compared to the new exclusives sony keeps pumping out, (The Last of Us), and the quality of their most recent ones, it's looking good for them. They both offer services, while (i think) Xbox has more, on the PSN, you can access them for free. You can't even use Netflix on your xbox unless you're a gold member, which is stupid. I don't see why Microsoft not only makes us pay for XBL, but also makes money off ads on the dashboard, yet we get nothing special in return. Xbox Kinect and PS move are both horrible. The only thing good about Kinect is the ability to use voice commands, which is a very minor thing considering it's price point. All in all, I prefer the party system and the dashboard on the Xbox, but that's about it. What exactly are we paying for with the Xbox Live Gold, when compared to the free PSN? A long time ago, XBL was quite superior. It had no ads, amazing exclusives (compared to PS3 having NO GAMEZ), and PSN+ didn't exist. At this rate, Microsoft needs to do something special. Considering we pay a fee every year for nothing special, they should add bonuses. Free games, free services (free netflix would be awesome), or maybe... NO ADS. The entire idea that we pay a fee, yet still see ads is absurd. Playstation is looking much more promising, and when the new consoles come out, I think I might switch over.
