Do you flush the toilet at night?
I know some can be really loud when flushed, so do you flush it and risk waking everyone up, or leave whatever is in it's depths to lurk until morning?

Many years ago when I was little, my mother would complain about flushing at night because it'd wake her up, so I stopped flushing. Then she'd complain that the toilet smelled and got stained when I didn't flush, so I started flushing again. Then she'd complain that I shouldn't go to the bathroom at night So I trained myself to pee out the window.
