I love the maps in Smash Bros. I was so mad they didn't bring back stuff like PokeFloats or the Ice Climbers level.
Also, original Hyrule Master Race. Dem Tornadoes Mayne. TORNADOES

Edited by Trollheim: 2/3/2013 1:37:01 PMThey're alright for casual fun. I think that Final Destination/Battlefield led to sort of stale "competitive" stages though. In the original smash you had interesting symmetric maps in the form of DK's stage, Peach's Castle, and Dream Land (technically not 100% symmetric but close enough) that could play competitively or casually. Later games they seemed to diverge too much, where either you had "serious" maps that are sterile or you had goofy maps where crazy s*** is happening all the time.
