Bungie love the new loot grab. Sadly I am out of vault space. I only have like 25 armor pieces and the rest are guns. I have never been able to collect armor pieces because the guns take up all the slots. Why don't I delete them? Good question, well you guys keep changing the meta every week. Instead of making new content for new weapons you all just recycle the old. Please give us more vault space tomorrow

I love how posts like this always draw the “delete half your vault” people out of the woodwork. Everyone keeps a little trash. Cleaning up your vault is a good thing. But at the same time, keep the weapons you want, enjoy, or just want to keep a roll of. Moderation people. If you want only 300 weapons, cool. If you want 599 that’s cool too. Don’t belittle people for playing the game different than you

I went through my vault and did spring cleaning. If a wean was still 1600 power level I deleted it since I obviously don’t use it. Then I compared perks to similiar weapons such as the strand pulse rifles. Example I had a Belasarius D and a Relentless both with Keep away/Headseeker. I kept the one with better stats and deleted the other. Compare your weapons like solar machine guns, void machine guns, etc and just keep the better ones.

Use destiny recipes it will sort all the garbage rolls out and lock the ones you keep so you only delete the unlocked ones in game, I deleted 100 weapons.

One thing I wish we could do is mark / sort gear in game. Similar to how Destiny Item Manager or Little Light (app) does for gear. Then you could mark gear that you're considering deleting but unsure of for (insert reason). Or set it to have a deadline for dismantle if not used by. Guaranteed you wouldn't miss many items if it could be deleted in the background. The rest of it is just fomo. Which Bungie has created a good system of perpetuating. I know I'm stuck in that mind set.

I have 500/600 after I figure out the trash rolls from the arsenal. You should delete your trash
-
Dude you don't need all that stuff in your vault
-
If you had a thousand spaces you would be the same . This is on you . Just manage your space better 🤷🏼♂️
-
Delete some items then? You don't need 500 different roles of the same weapon.
-
Bungie could give us 9,999 vault spaces and people would still fill it up and beg for more space
-
To be fair you probably only use like 20-40 weapons. You should go in and clean up some trash

I made 2 more hunters for item muleing I feel bad for you with 3 characters because as is i am at 599 vault space with 1 character... I want all my items and armor

why keep bottom tier rolls?

Ooh.....you're about to get eaten alive! In 3.....2....1....!

I wonder how many people telling you to clean your vault deleted their sunset weapons because this developer told them they were never coming back. The issue isn't so much holding on to loot, it's that the developer flowed logic of constantly recycling weapons and calling them "new weapons"
Instead of making new content for new weapons you all just recycle the old
The recycling of old weapons with new perks is so overdone it just shows how lazy this developer is and this has been going on for years. G-hone Thorn Black Hammer, etc. The list goes on, and over the years some of the recycled weapons were used as a selling point that people bought into only for the same thing to happen to them over and over and over again. IMO this game shouldn't have multiple of the same weapons with different perks. The loot system is just as boring as buying items from the shop with BD, only to see the same thing recycled over and over and over again with a new color and name, but somehow it's called a "new item".

You could have a million vault spaces, and you and many others would still fill it with garbage.

Edited by Golden: 5/10/2024 1:38:20 PMThen delete some, literally most if not all your old weapons are gettin revamped with better perks anyways
-
Edited by Guardian,Archon Of Light: 5/9/2024 12:20:56 PMSince they ditched armor mod affinity , there is no reason to hoard armor And you don't need 10 rolls of every gun I have 395/600, including 40 sunset weapons, which will be 395/700 in final shape It's not Bungies fault your obsessive about keeping everything

Show your vault

Time to get over your hoarding addiction. Start learning how to use the delete button.

Look at thumbs up weapons first, look at what perks you want, any that do not fit what rolls you want, go ahead and delete they will fall again anyway. Keep all raid and dungeon weapons unless duplicates. Delete exotic weapons not used often, can always get them back from collections when buffed. Delete all class items except Iron Banner and raid ones. Delete any armor not Master worked and under 63. Keep no more than 2 of a kind, one for PVE and one for PVP. My clean up method is I play Trials, get my butt kicked and delete 100 items in anger. lol

Sounds like a you problem.

It's datto time

Maybe just delete duplicates perk rolls of the same gun type.
-
You should delete some to make space

Yes, I just hit 600 (again) and it takes me forever to clear down as I'm looking at every weapon to see what has multiple perks and if any are decent and what the masterwork is. But I am coming around to the thinking of many of the guardians replying on this thread, it is pointless having so many of the same weapon types, I haven't even fired the majority of weapons in my vault even once to see if I even like the feel of them. Is my understanding correct that some world drop weapons can't be pulled from collections so once you shred them you can't get them back?
