My roommate and I were previously having issues playing Destiny 2 together on the same internet connection, but we got a new router that properly allowed for UPnP and were able to start playing together with no issues starting ~1 year ago.
This worked fine with no errors and disconnects into 2024, but starting a couple of months ago, I started to disconnect intermittently (not frequently, but every couple of hours) with the WEASEL error code.
Starting about a month ago, I have been disconnecting with the WEASEL error code after ~2-5 minutes of play, every time I attempt to play the game, both with my roommate and solo.
We have not made any changes to our internet settings, and have followed all of the usual troubleshooting guides for network issues and error codes, but I am still getting the same error. We have also tested other online games and I do not have any issues disconnecting with those games.
Can someone please assist in looking into this as to why it suddenly got worse, and is happening at all? It has reached the point where I am unable to play the game.
