[i]I kissed a Borg and I liked it The taste of her metal whatsit I kissed a Borg just to try it I hope my Captain don’t mind it[/i] Yeah I watched First Contact and Insurrection yesterday and I agree FC is probably my favourite although I will watch Nemesis tonight or tomorrow and find out for sure. Insurrection was fine but it felt very awkward plot-wise and seemed like there should have been a lot more explanation as to why everything was happening. Maybe I just missed the explanations, I was kinda sleepy by that point in the evening.

Won't spoil it, but my opinion in the spoiler. Don't read if you don't want my opinion coloring your viewing experience. [spoiler]Insurrection was much better than Nemesis. Nemesis was lame.[/spoiler]

Insurrection is a good idea just implemented poorly. Nemesis is a jumble of half baked ideas implemented poorly, but I think I prefer nemesis because it does at least try to be a bit different. I feel like half a dozen regular episodes are like Insurrection and they all do it better.

I think that's why I liked insurrection more. Because it felt like an episode of the show. Or at least it felt like in the spirit of the show. Nemesis just felt like an excuse to assault Diana Troi multiple times and make Romulans relevant again.
