WHY stress us out like that when we will have a ton of new content to explore. WHY?? The raid releasing during week 2 of a new expansion has been SO much better in every aspect. You give players more time to see all the new content in a relaxed manner. Releasing the raid during the first week will just cause many of us a whole lot of uneccessary stress...
...please please please reconsider this!

All the absolute morons who say “it’s just a game”. Yea. It is. So why does it need to be on this specific day? Changing it hurts nobody.
-
I'll be on the toilet having a poo! That's way more stressful.

Imagine that, another post crying about the launch date... Since ive already replied to a post like this, Im just gonna say this: Take a shot for everytime someone posts about this topic.
-
Only people that get to play it are streamers anyway that's why they post it on Fridays so they can beat it and have "content" to make videos and ruin the gane fir everyone.

Womp womp

Nice opinion. One small issue: Bungie likey 7.

Edited by Spicy Water: 4/20/2024 4:25:05 PMMan I just don’t get speeding through new content asap to reach an arbitrary number that will make running the new raid slightly less unbearable. A raid experience I would need to take a day off work for, designed to take almost my entire day failing at the same unknown mechanics over and over and over again. Id rather go outside, personally. Regardless of which day it is, I couldn’t care less.
-
"Cause many of us a lot of unnecessary stress"?? Do you even hear yourself? Seriously? 😳 It may cause YOU this unnecessary stress......
-
Titan your cabals and try again Guardian!
-
My world’s first will be that much sooner!

Edited by CAMSTOCK: 4/20/2024 1:49:04 AMWhy ? Why not? you are complaining that now you don’t have any (time gate) I don’t understand, you can play whatever you want, what’s your problem?maybe there won't be enough content? I don't see the tension, it's just a game...
-
I can't imagine having unnecessary stress over something like a video game unless it is how the person makes their living. What a truly easy life you must have.
-
hahah the way people are acting about this cracks me up Explore new content after the raid then? ffs stop acting like its the end of your life Why should non-raiders have to wait to complete the last mission all because of a raid? Better get to grinding hard when it comes out lol
-
Going to force a lot of peeps to rush the campaign, literally wasting all the time and effort Bungie devs put into it. Why even have new content then? why not release raid day 1, kind of a waste of effort.
-
Nah, I like it like this. There's usually something that only becomes available once the raid is beaten so I want that out sooner rather than later.
-
People would be saying the same thing if they didn't so get over it
-
What’s the difference, explore the new content after the raid 🤷♂️
-
Agreed. But only because i actually want to play the campaign and such...and not the raid. Because the last few raids disabled like 50% of exotics and abilities and the servers.
-
I for one, like many, have no desire to run the raid that first weekend. But what happens during that first raid weekend? Things get nuked and nerfed making normal play crappy. I, if I actually order it, which I haven't (a first since Destiny started), want to run the normal story mission content and NOT be hampered by the restrictions that come from the first weekend of the raid, something highly catered towards streamers anyways. If it were the second week most of us will have at least one character ran through the story missions, which makes more sense anyways for those of us that actually like the story! In other words Bungo is still, even with the awesome(?), shiny(?) new paradigm they are trying to show us, is in reality still catering to the streamers and still not thinking about the other 95% of us! Once upon a time I loved running raids, so I can totally understand and empathize with those that want to take on the raid asap. But patience truly can be a virtue even in Destiny game playing!

Bungie ignore the plea because bungie is bungie
-
Seems strange considering the most recent raid launches have been organized to let more people hop in and get a taste.
-
It’s obviously for two reasons… They are trying to get cute with including everyone and bringing story closure from the campaign and not the raid. Also they don’t care about how jammed it is because streamers will be running it and promoting the game/raid. That will lead to more purchases of The Final Shape. Bungie has never cared about player experience but in their current position they are pumping this DLC like their lives depend on it. Because the Sony take over likely does depend on it lol
-
Dude just do it when you want. Not like you’re going to win the race, but I agree it’s weird they’re doing it like this
-
Don’t care. Not buying TFS until reviews come out or it goes on sale. This year was garbage & I’ll bee too busy with life anyhow.

Bungie is constantly concerned with our ability to consume content to quickly then they set a new raid 3 days after release.. Bungie literally doe sthis to themselves. Now player will consume the campaign exceptionally quickly to get to the raid end game. The reason is very obvious... marketing. Few will be able to reasonably participate, lowering day one and week one completions making those rewards more exclusive (enter FOMO) and then pushing people toward the streamers for info on how to beat it.. which again is free marketing. Bungie has done pretty well the last several raid releases to ensure participation of its community and moving releases later after launch and to a weekend was extremely usefull to more people than it was not. Hopefully bungie gets the message and changes the release date.. I won't be holding my breath though.. One also then has to ask if the campaign is actually this bad they want us to consume it quickly and move on from it????
