https://gamerant.com/outriders-destiny-division-kick-boot-devastator/ Yeah this article is for the guy or girl whose making jokes that the community isn't toxic! When other Video Games companies refers toxic behavior directly to Destiny 2 that's when you know that there's a major problem with the community. Literally players are even reporting the same thing they are being kicked by fire team members just before the end of the 50 wave on legend!
The problem is not the game the problem is the community this community is not new player or returning player friendly. Example look at the LFG for legend outslaught.. Then when you play destiny one it's not like this you can literally go to the tower stand there and someone will say hey you wanna do a raid and be friends. The community in destiny 2 is extremely anti-social. When you play Destiny one raid players are Patient they Want To teach players in Destiny 2 if you Don't learn the mechanic right away they Kick you out of the activity.
Where can I get those absolutely fabulous rose colored glasses you're wearing dear. They're so cute. -
Even in the game outriders when players were kicking players just before the end of the expedition to pick up your rewards the company Square Enix was even referring to this behavior as something similar to the destiny community. all game companies know how toxic the destiny community truly is!

Edited by Ketogenic_Guardian: 4/16/2024 6:35:15 PMMaybe stop doing drugs and you can understand what people tell you. All I said was players in this community should be respectful to each other help each other like how it was in destiny one when the game was fun it was about making friends! You honestly think people are gonna stick around for final shape the way the community treats people.. maybe that's why pre-order sales are the lowest it's ever been! Players play destiny for fun they don't stick around to be harassed and treated like trash for no reason!

I do call bull on this idyllic view of the game this guy seems to have. The original Destiny was also a toxic cesspool. -
I wasn't actually referring to that since I have no real frame of reference; I played D1 but only with a select few people or solo, and it wasn't all that much to begin with. I was talking about the broad generalization being made about the entire D2 community, which isn't justified because it seems to deliberately overlook the sizable number of players who aren't cut from the same "toxic" cloth this person is implying everyone is.

I think we can use me as an example of how his whole "the whole Destiny community is toxic" take is a load of malarkey. I can be a bit toxic, but I'm also one person among a sea of many and in fact people go outside of their way to call me toxic, which means my behavior is outside the norm. If the entire community was toxic like he says then wouldn't everyone be behaving like I do? -
I hope it doesn't disappoint but I've typically found you entertaining as opposed to toxic but then, maybe I have a skewed sense of humor. Personally, I've come to the conclusion that the very term "toxic" has gotten so diluted from overuse that it's become almost devoid of any real impact; may as well call someone a "meany." Besides, plenty of players are above the petty behavior that can be found on the forum and hopping on here to sling insults and accusations certainly doesn't raise the status quo, thus contributing to the very problem some people have with the "toxic community."
