Whether or not Titans are OP has little to do with having hunters going into PvP spamming grenades and moving all slow like the other two classes are supposed to. YAS was unbecoming of hunters in PvP. Anything that takes that much health at once shouldn't happen as often as YAS was regardless of aspects or fragments. PvP can't be all about winning for picking things or it doesn't work right in terms of gameplay.

  • If titan double lightning nades that jolt (if you are within jolt range of a teammate and get hit by the nade, you insta die to the jolt) and 1 shot scatter nades (that refresh faster with devour or OS, both easy to get going) are a thing, which they are, without exotics, YAS was fine in PvP except the mine health and the audio pings stopping. Hunters are the slowest even with stompees on unless you use grapple because jump skating is a thing on titan and warlock, shoulder charge is a thing to got in and out, ic dash, snap cancel and warlock blink as well are faster than stompees. I pointed out the PvP side because that is why it was nerfed supposedly, all I care about is ability hits charging nade in PvE coming back as well as PvE dmg. From one of the most fun exotics to cosmetic.

It's on a Titan though. So if the characters are balanced more in the way they have been since basically D1 something like that shouldn't be as much of an issue. The way hunters should work (without a literal ton of buildcrafting) should mean they probably shouldn't be spamming abilities like the other two can. It was pretty common knowledge that hunters should do that stuff the least, then titans, then warlocks. Proof?... Hunter supers have to be garbage because otherwise it would be far too many kills. It's somewhat always been like that but as the game progressed and they would get new supers the supers always sucked as the abilities became more important. I totally agree with you about the fact that hunters moving slow relative to the others is unfair. One of my biggest problems is having resilience and mobility being so important but the classic way to play a hunter is to be able rely on recovery and playing stick and move. That's like almost totally gone, because you can't play stick and move with no mobility and try being a middle tier player with low resilience. Which was just a bit overboard imho. Its just weird because they were the one character that had their past and evolutions since D1 almost totally erased, and the justifications were fun to read. In PvE all the stuff is fine. Its hard to say exactly what direction that part of the game is going in but one thing I can say is that there for a while power and difficulty seemed to increase concurrently. No one defends the difficulty increases anymore but this game would have been a snooze fest in a lot of places with how strong the characters had gotten, even if the difficulty increases went overboard.
