The games population doesn't allow for that because they neglected pvp for years ...
I really liked freelance but well... As soon as they get positive feedback they scrap it.
I bet they will say something like this soon:
"We heard you like checkmate! We decided to make mayhem the default crucible for that reason. Also buy some silver!"

If population is the issue, then freelance only is the way. Everyone can play freelance.

The sweat lords would never go for that. They would whine and say “Oh but what about my team now I have to play solo” or “well now my teammates are bad and I’m always losing because of them.” The sweats will never let that happen, because all the streamers want to do is go into trials with a stacked team, clap solo after solo, and get a god roll. And once they do, they go BACK in and continue destroying people for the sheer fun of it. I went flawless 2 times, both solo. I got a god roll messenger last season, and a solid igneous roll this season. I never went back, because there isn’t a point. It’s not fun because the sweats only want to fight worse players, and that’s the way it will always be as long as bungie caters to the 1%.

The good players will still be good. Only the ones that always play on team will have to face reality.

Good players do play on teams. I’m a solo player and always have been, but I can hold my own in trials. It’s the players with groups that will never go for this which is 90% of the player base. Trial’s doesn’t need communication, you just need to play smart. But the “good players” says it does… if they were so good they wouldn’t need constant comms to get some kills.

While I would embrace it, I think rhere are still many people enjoying the team pvp experience. Personally I would go with choice. But yeah bungie f...d up a long time ago ...

Teams should enjoy it against other teams. If team playlist appears empty, maybe there is a reason for it.

I agree, but let's face it. Bungie will not allocate any ressources to to any big changes now that they are working full time on marathon ...

Let's hope that the talk about crucible strike team wasn't just talk.

I believe it when I see change ...
