Actually….match-fixing, network manipulation, and/or ghost lobbies have always been against the rules & a bannable offense. Just because Bungie didn’t ban people at the time of the offense doesn’t mean they allowed it.

"Just because Bungie didn’t ban people at the time of the offense doesn’t mean they allowed it." Exactly my point. When you could see when players join matches and how many, and be in the same geographic area, you could join up against your buddies super easily. That is considered an Exploit and bungie doesn't ban players from exploits that they have created. Why was I banned over 2 years late (SEP2023). The said offense was Season 13 (Feb-May 2021). Bungie updated the ToS in Aug 2021 and made it publicly made it known that you will get banned if you do it going forward . They also blanked out the que window to prevent that from occurring. You have access to my account, did that Ever occur after season 13, never. Same can be said for the build crafting a couple weeks ago. Trials was a mess, is Bungie going to go back a ban everyone that was doing that?

Edited by CantSilence: 10/19/2023 1:43:02 PMProof that Bungie told you what you were banned for? You also (erroneously) blamed your ban on simply changing your name & playing GMs.

I messed up my name in bungie and was complaining about it. I own that. If I didn't complain about me messing up my name, I would not be in this mess - and that is fact. By complaining about it, I have a heavy suspicion that the moderators/ninjas looked for any reason to ban me. Proof is in the pudding. They went back over 2 years ago on a witch hunt. I was playing GM's with buddies the night prior before the ban. Here is what was told to me for the suspension: "Back in Season 13, you played 122 Trials matches and scored only 5 kills in total... That smells a lot like Wintrading "

No matter how cheesed you made a Ninja, that doesnt get you a game ban. [quote]"Back in Season 13, you played 122 Trials matches and scored only 5 kills in total...
