In pvp this has undeniably ruined some people experiences and this shouldnt exist as it is just so dull to play with and against, its mayhem but no flashy supers, making it kinda boring really quick. its bad for pvp.
For pve though that is a whole can of worms that is as volatile as an old burried WW2 tripemine. To list the points from a purely observer stand point it: Devalues triumphs and stuff to worthless, adept weapons to nothing, titles and etc. Pros: it makes the dull difficulty variations more then just defeat spammed champions and hordes of enemies with chonky hp bars and absurd damage. For pve difficulty wise go at it i dont blame anyone for using it to make stuff easier as bungies concept of making something harder isnt fun but just, spam champions and low thought modifiers to make it harder. Triumph wise this is bad i have to admit and devalues a lot of peoples work.
Overall the worst offense is this (sorry if i now have taken what is a "side"), people are rejecting the facts this devalues everything in the game to "when everyone is special, no ones special" point in the game, makes pvp unplayable and pretty boring after a match or 2, but makes GM's and stuff fun as it isnt only just the same old abuse meta stuff so you can actually have fun in hardcore activities because bungies difficulty spike option is terrible "spam champions, hp bars and stuff make good hard content".
