  • This gamemode does exactly, what I just deemed unbalancable: reduce the TTK (maybe read the post first, before leaving the typical useless oneliner). The gameplay of momentum control is a lot faster due to both of the factors disadvantaging offensive playtsyles being gone and in my opinion actually more fun than the rest of the Crucible, but the balance makes it totally uncompetitive and just replaces old problems with new ones. Entire weapontypes and many archetypes of the remaining ones are useless, even more than in regular Crucible. The ability spam in there also seems to be a lot worse. Again: Reducing the TTK is not possible with an entirely new sandbox/game, so the radar as the second big cause of chokepoint-centered, defensive gameplay remains. Like I also wrote, it doesnt necessarily take a deletion of the radar. Other ways could be tested as well, but for that, the people left caring about this PvP have to stop pretending, that the Crucible is perfect, and blocking every way to improve it.
