90% chance to win one way or another, first game playing against flawless game, and ability spam.
These things should never happen in trials. I know the trials, and general, playerbase is dwindling but how does it make any sense for the first, second, third, and so on matches be against player on their flawless game? How is it that abilities still have an insane uptime even after the nerf to ability uptime?
I’m not an incredible pvp player, but I’m definitely not bad but am somehow matched against teams that have a duo that wipe my team in the first 15 seconds of a round consistently enough to drive anyone crazy.
Teammates don’t try to switch up strats or play to their builds strengths and play like they genuinely have no idea what’s going on all the while, the other team is smart with rotations, flanks, and playing to their strengths.
I just want to know what the actual trials parameters are. What dictates the matchmaking? Is it purely connection? If so, it’s atrocious. Rubberbanding melees, being shot around corners, and players not being where the map shows they’re actually at are all to common for it to be connection based. I have good internet (400mbs+ up and down and a ping of sub 25ms) so that’s not the problem. Even with their p2p servers shouldn’t I still be matching people with similar internet connections?
If it is card based then how is it that so many games when I’m only on my second or third win am I playing with or against people on their flawless game or 6th win? Even after resetting a card, I’m matched against the same people who I just played with.
I’m not coming to complain but to instead try and better figure out what the hell is going on.
