Putting the seasonal weapon skin at level 16 of the second reset seems stupid to me.
As if farming weapons to obtain their diagram and be able to create it were not enough, I really don't see the point in repeating an activity so many times to be able to reach level 16 of the second reset and thus obtain the skin of the seasonal weapon.
Is it so important to leave it at level 5 or 10? Anything that makes my time in Destiny 2 for fun and not farming like a Korean is welcome.
Seriously, I don't know why this obsession of now having to spend hours and hours repeating the same activity to get something, as if it were a Korean MMO.

1 ReplyI think the weapon reward in the two vendors you don't collect it from first should change to the ornament once you get it, so you only have to do a double reset for one of them. I'm not sure if that makes sense worded that way, or if it's possible from a development perspective, but the example would be this: Reach Rank 16 for Vanguard, claim the weapon. Rank 16 reward for Crucible and Gambit becomes their respective ornaments. Vanguard ornament still obtained from Rank 16 after a reset.

BungLe wants you to spend every free second on THEIR game. If you want to collect "everything," you need to eat, breathe, and sleep Destiny. It's also a cheap way to inflate their player numbers/hours.

1 ReplyYou can eventually buy the seasonal weapon skin. When Final Shape arrives, this years skins can be purchased in tower.

It is just a cosmetic. I am fine with it being there and wouldn't mind having it earlier or later in the reward track. If you really care about these things, play more and get it, if you don't want to play more for this, you are not missing out on anything relevant.

Especially given they're nearly always worse carbon copies of the original: literally the same shape with the same old Gambit, Vanguard or Crucible logo plastered on it. Minimal effort. And like everything else in life, just slapping on a huge logo is an easy way to make something look worse.

I wish they'd go back to [i]"Complete Seasonal playlist quest for weapon"[/i] -model. And then have ornament as last reward for first, instead of second reset.
