Yes as I was trouble shooting some twitch rewards that wouldn't show up. But I bought the season pass on ps5 and I'm still playing on ps5

Season passes and dungeon keys are bound to the save file that is active at the time of purchase. So if your xbox was active save that account is the one that has the passes.

Ok. That’s why. You bought it while your xbox data was the main data…so it got assigned to the xbox characters. Once you disable cross save, your ps characters become usable on ps…and they don’t have the pass.

Lol ok so I tried destiny on xbox and then got hooked and immediately moved to ps5 but didnt want to start over so I cross saved. Then the twitch awards wouldnt come over and twitch support suggested I re link all accounts. Then when unlinking cross save there is literally no warning about the 90 days so the ps5 content I bought on the ps5 is now attached to an xbox f2p account that I used for maybe 2hours? This is the intended way the system is supposed to work?

Cross save is meant to be semi permanent. There are mandatory cool downs for security and abuse prevention purposes so the 90days is intentional. Passes are bound to the active save file intentionally so that you can use them on all platforms when you have cross save enabled. Relinking accounts for twitch items refers to the linking of twitch and bungie, not necessarily cross saved accounts.

I feel like that was not clear and this process seems to me as punitive towards players like myself that dont "know" everything. Your a community member and not a bungie employee that could actually help and are here to just reinforce that the mistake was mine correct?

what exception are you wanting? the 90day rule or moving the season passes?

It seems the 90 day is a hard sell so moving the season pass seems the more likely ask but realistically anything to restore the season pass to my ps5 account without a second purchase is the goal.

Fill it out, detailing your situation. Bought the expansion, then twitch support had you disable cross save, and now passes orphaned on your unused platform and they might be able to assist.

There literally IS a warning (multiple in fact) about the 90 day cooldown before cross save can be reactivated after being deactivated. You just overlooked it. And yes, this is the intended way….as explained throughout the process & in the faq guide.
