Knowing which programming languages would pique Bungie's interest as an applier?

As the question suggests I want to work at Bungie in an entry position but their most job listings are for either active students or seniors (people with experience). I am self studying/taking courses for Java and would prefer working on the engineering side of Destiny and future games, additionally to this what would they require/request/want as an extra? I know typing this here wont 100% get me a job but I dont use twitter and I have seen them active on forums and honestly would prefer getting flamed here than somewhere else. Thanks in advance for answers.

  • Personally I would get used to java and python as much as possible, that’s what I have learned as a hobby and they’re both used in various situations. Bungie uses the Tiger engine for destiny, and I don’t really know how that interacts with hard code, but I’m sure it’s rooted in something more your style.
