What was your, or what would have hypothetically been, your reasoning for joining the military?
In light of a couple of recent comments out there on a forum, let's here from the community, eh?

I'll start it off by saying there are no wrong answers here. Not one person is alike, and people have joined or at least have thought about joining for lots of reasons. My reason(s): get away from home, travel, money for college, felt like I didn't have a purpose or direction, the path I was on was not a pretty one, wanted to shoot "targets", and I had a death wish (didn't think I'd come back alive and lowkey didn't want to, but here I am) [quote]Semper Fi [/quote] -dis[b]grunt[/b]led vet [b];IGY6[/b]
