Let’s say you have a god roll Shadow Price. The problem being you only have one and you have to juggle it around your 3 different characters. Instead of having to juggle it around, we could use this system to duplicate it. The idea is that we could use an Engram (Prime, Umbral, or maybe a new variant) Glimmer, Enhancement cores, etc. to make a copy of it. Different weapons requiring different conditions, engrams and materials. For example, duplicating a standard Shadow Price could cost a certain Engram, 50,000 glimmer, 10 enhancement cores, and an ascendant shard. While duplicating an adept Shadow Price could cost double. Yeah it’s a lot, but it’s an adept weapon. Plus this is just a concept. Trials & Gambit Weapons could require their respective engrams. If a system like this is put in place, it could give us a break from doing so much grinding. Sure we’d still have to grind for the materials and engrams, but I’m sure that it would be preferable as opposed to doing 20 GMs in the hopes of getting just one half decent adept weapon.
