Raid Damage/Full report

Can yall (bungie team) please show us a report of damages, etc. You don't mind showing us (team) when we die. It can be like a crucible report after the raid where can flip through each encounter of the raid, or add it to the app some where like you do for last activity the player has done. Or add a spot in the tower or helm for it, or like Zavalas room. All the player do like to know what the numbers are.

  • Agreed it can help solve an issue for future runs and spot weak links. Hiding ineptitude isn't a solution for ssid said ineptitude.

  • Agreed. It makes zero sense to show a damage report on a wipe because that breads toxicity. “Oh you didn’t do anything you suck. You need to use xyz” and it’s just drama. We’ve all seen it. Even in joking with the bottom player, you could be making that person feel like total -blam!-. Showing an endgame screen encompassing each phase of the raid after beating the boss makes so much more sense.

  • A Post-Raid Report is something I have wanted since I played this game. Literally they show us damage if we fail, we get a report at the end of dungeons ….. why not at the end of a raid / raid encounter? I am amazed how many people (not just in this post, but many others asking for the same thing you are), believe that wanting a post-raid report is an elitist move, or an ego stroke of some kind. Having information about an encounter and a teams performance, good or bad, is not a bad thing. And any player that goes into DPS with a half decent loadout has little to worry about in the “I’m going to get booted” department. There will always be opposition to this idea by players who do not want their stats laid bare to the whole fireteam (even though it literally happens now upon a wipe).

They show it when we die so we know who to kick out or shame into wanting to quit. I'm just kidding. Yeah, I've been wanting this since I started raiding. Bump with an upvote

  • What I really don't understand...is that we see the damage report screen in dungeons after the orbit timer expires. And we've been asking for several years about seeing raid damage without needing to wipe...and they won't show it.

It's funny how people are weirdly against this, it serves no issues if you had the raid completed. Crazy how we are in the day in age where people are so sensitive that they can't stand someone looking at their own damage numbers, like please grow up it's not that pressing. If someone's gonna be toxic, it's gonna happen regardless of damage numbers, please understand that.

    • I love seeing the damage report after dungeons. I don’t raid much; but here’s a bump.

    • This has been an issue for YEARS. For whatever reason bungo doesn't have a clue of what is important vs what isn't important in terms of quality of life changes. They constantly miss the mark on what to implement. Literally everyone would love to see a raid report upon successful completions (even failed attempts). Helps the players see what worked, what didn't work, etc. Bungo just doesn't understand what their player base wants. Sad honestly considering how long they've been making this game.

Counterpoint - you do get an encounter report after each wipe, which is arguably more important than a post-raid report which if you raid with friends you already know who sucked, and if you raid with randoms I guess, what, you just know who to look out for? I’m curious what specific info you’re looking for to make this valuable. I’m open to it, just unclear as to the point. Edit: seeing even a limited set of desired data here makes me wonder if Bungie is capable of delivering that level of granularity in a decipherable way. The design of it alone would be a full time job for a UI/UX team.

            • Why does this a small part of the player base think this is so important?? To see of you’re the best i guess, or that someone is worthy to be on the team… if you succeed it doesn’t matter, only if you fail. Don’t come at me with improvement and all that -blam!- it’s just for your ego nothing more…

              • I just want my old tribute room back. I loved having enemies there to test weapons and set-up on. Bungie give us a training room similar to the tribute hall please! I can't see this having any real downsides and plenty of positives

              • I remember back in the old times there was that…but now here we are slowly going back to the days of D1..I want this back too because even though I know for a fact I don’t do the most damage I like to see who did just because it’s amusing to see how much damage they did

              • Naaah, not needed honestly. Just look at these replies, that tells me right there why it isn't needed and that's just one reason. We get feedback when we fail an encounter, that's perfect. Boss dies, there's your feedback, fireteam did enough damage! The other info everyone desires can be found in numerous locations either via right here on bungie.net or other outside sources. Last but not least, your ego is of no concern to me or anyone else, so leave that flex at the door, we have an encounter to complete.

Admittedly I didn't read the whole post, but believe I have a good grasp of it, since it's been repeated time and again. It won't fly. It just won't. Any and all concepts that leave even the tiniest room for player exclusion, will generally not gain any traction whatsoever. Whether it's the 1st, 5th, or 500th time asking. "But it's to check for DPS and builds, to see who needs improvement" I get it, but you're not everyone. Nor can you account for every little "arsenic" of a player with "bad intentions/leadership" to others. Get my drift? A better suggestion is to ask for a proper "training room" (remember the Tribute Hall - Season of Opulence.) Ask for something like that. This solves more problems and has more long-term benefits. Good intentions, but bad suggestion. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
