I thought they removed the maps to save space and cull all of the complaints about certain maps being in rotation... meanwhile I myself want several of these maps to come back. Crucible and Gambit both. So many cool maps lost to the vault. But the Gambit maps are way too open and small to make it worth it... 2 seconds of running in any direction and you're within sight of each other. The maps were designed that way. You were talking about spawn traps... I dont think you really want Gambit PvP maps.

  • Ok maybe the earth map is a tad tiny, but throw some walls up on the center, it's a solid 3s. I really don't think you naysayers are giving it enough thought, and considering how minor additions such as half walls and the giant boulders Bungie like to slap around would actually work okay. You're used to enemies spawning in the exact same places, at the same times, running the single most efficient routes from point A to B and FN botting around the center because it just doesn't matter. Rotating the map against autonomous and generally reckless combatants would completely change the way you use this terrain. Excluding the beach map..there are a literal fkload of opportunities to change elevation, cut behind cover and rechallenge new angles of the same area. If it's too small put em as 3s, better yet scale them up. You act as if these D1 maps haven't been -blam!- shrunk down to the size they are now. Yet another option you're not acknowledging, every map is mirrored and coexisting.. they're double wides. Add more portals. Think a little creatively. Outside of the same mentality we have now to challenge the same angles over and over and over again because that's just the way it is and the way it's been. Get real.
